Falcon LLM – The Game-Changer in Open-Source AI Technology

We all use ChatGTP and we all love it but what do we know about it? How does it work? Nobody knows it and this is called closed source. Because of that, no one can get this model.

But at Technology Innovation Institution(TII) a company that is part of the Abu Dhabi Government’s Advanced Technology Research Council, a group of scientists build an AI that is entirely open source and is called Falcon LLM.

It is the first large-scale AI model in the UAE and one of the Best in the world. Also, Falcon LLM is entirely free.

Falcon LLM is an open-source AI which is a foundational large language model with 40 billion parameters trained on one trillion tokens.

The model uses only 75 percent of GPT-3’s training compute, 40 percent of Chinchilla’s, and 80 percent of PaLM-62B’s.

For what Falcon can be used?

• It can come up with original text and resolve challenging issues.

• Additionally, it can be applied to sentiment analysis, language translation, chatbots, virtual assistants, customer support operations, and content creation.

• It will help Emirati companies and startups become more efficient, help to simplify or eliminate unnecessary work-related tasks to improve the efficiency of processes in businesses or organizations, and give back time for employees to focus on that matters.
